A group of researchers recently revealed a widespread internet vulnerability dubbed "Heartbleed", which is an attack against a popular cryptographic library most websites use for SSL. That is the little lock icon you see when you visit parts of our site which ask for sensitive information. We take patient privacy very seriously and have secured sensitive areas of our website platform using SSL, however the version of this software that we use is not vulnerable to this attack. Additionally, we have taken still extra precautions to eliminate any further risks.
