I have a little different story to tell. I am not your 100lbs+ over weight person. I was not obese by normal standards. I was 50lbs over weight and I'd "tried it all" to loose my weight. I went in for surgery at 170lbs (size 12/14) and 4 months later I'm happily at 125lbs (size 5/7). I'm a little heavier than my pre-baby weight but very happy still!
The experience as a whole was good. The hotel is nice and the surgery center is clean and beautiful!
I haven't had any problems other than the things they worn you about!
My issues: Heartburn! I'd never experienced that before! The first 2 months it was brutal but now I rarely experience it at all.
I struggled to eat the first 8 weeks also. Nothing sat well or it went straight through me but again I have no trouble now!
Spicy can get me sometimes as well!
All in all I'm sooo happy with my results! I'm asked all the time what I did and when they hear I had the sleeve they want to know more! You don't find very many testimonials from "smaller" people but there are a lot of us that have had the sleeve and I wish more of us would talk about it!
It's worth 2 months of..... "uncomfortable" to have my body back!
