This surgery is the best gift I could ever have given myself! In my adult life, I was a lifetime member of Jenny Craig and Weight Watchers. I would yo-yo up and down and always repeat the same mistakes and old habits. My friend, Yara, got sleeved 3 months before I did so I was fortunate to be able to see the process through her eyes. We have both been amazingly successful! Actually, we think we're smokin' hot now! Why did I do this? Not going to lie, part of it was vanity but it was also for my health and psychological well-being! Atrial Fibrillation and other heart issues run in my family. I have been on heart arrhythmia medication for years. I have not had a single event of AFib since my surgery. I'm living and loving life!
