I scheduled this appointment for gastric sleeve twice before I went to Mexico and had it done. Because I was talked out of it the first time and partly because I was scared. I didn't know anyone that had this surgery before and didn't know anyone to go to Mexico to have surgery done. I read testimonies online and just relied on what I read. I don't have health insurance So I wasn't going to pay what they wanted for the surgery here in the States.
I made my appointment for nearly right away and just went. I met more 'Gastric Sleevers' at the Airport waiting for our shuttle to take us across the border to Mexico. It was all a bit strange at first and it's not like our hospitals here at home But they took very good care of me and 2 days after surgery I was out taking a tour of Mexico. They people are very friendly and make you feel at home and I really missed it when it was time to leave.
For anyone who has all the doubts and fears that I did, please rest assured. I would do it all over again. I even had my gall bladder taken out too.
It has been just over 2 months since my surgery now. I have lost 35 pounds so far and I feel so much better. I truly believe I had the Best Doctor!
