I had 70 pounds to lose and like many, many people, I tried every program out there, only to lose about 15-20 lbs and then gain it all back - and then some. This surgery was a drastic option or me, but I felt I had no choice. I should have taken more time and done more research about what to expect immediately after surgery, and in the 4-8 weeks following surgery; however, even knowing what I know now, I would still have this surgery again. I was uncertain about traveling to a border town in Mexico to have surgery, but I was well taken care of by Dr. Almanza's team. At this point I still have about 20 lbs to lose, but am very happy with the results. I would recommend this facility without reservation. They took great care of me.
