Im truly happy I did this Surgery. It has changed how I eat, the signals I now get to remind me to eat and changed the signals I get to stop eating. Ive lost over 25 lbs since the start of presurgery diet. Two weeks ago was my surgery . I am a lover of food! It has been my biggest battle! Right now I don't feel like it controls me. I didnt know I could feel this way.. not gonna lie the surgery was hard and the gas pains near my heart. With rest and walking that subsided. I would have liked a more watchful eye on me as a patient at the hotel. I am a little scared of Mexico but always felt pretty safe. Bring someone with you . It makes u not feel so alone! You have to be your best advocate really! Luckily I had no complications. But talking with other patients and forming a support group was my best ali.
