One week out, no pain , feel good. everything went well with the surgery. The most important thing is to bring lots GAS X with you. You really going to need it. Next, walk after surgery because it really helps a lot. Do bring cool, comfortable cloths and pack light. If you traveled with carry-on luggage coming into San Diego, you may want to check you bag when traveling home. It is better because you can not lift heavy objects at this point. I am taking my antibiotics, cleaning and dressing my surgical wounds (6 small 1/2 to 1 inch incisions), and staying hydrated and active.
