My husband passed away in 2008 and I ate through my depression. I tried several diets but I always seemed to gain the weight back :-( After seeing how well others had done, I researched the "sleeve" procedure. And thanks to a family member, I was able to pay for and have the surgery !!!! I will be honest, I was miserable after the surgery but that is to be expected. I had traveled to another country, without anyone coming with me. But there was a great bunch of people who had the surgery the same day who kept me company...so to speak. It has been a "chore" trying eat the right foods, but once I got used to it, I have no longer craved the sweets, the burgers, all the pastas that I was eating before ! And on a really happy note, I have reunited with someone from my past and we ha!!!!ve developed a relationship!!!!! :-) he says I'm HOT!!!!! Thank you Dr Almanac for helping bring my "hotness" back.
