I undertook this option, gastric sleeve, after years of yo-yo dieting and having no success. I looked at everything I could and so far, I'm happy with my choice. The first day of surgery is no picnic, and the next day, you have pain and gas, and that's exactly what they said. DO as they say, WALK! Get up! Move! It helps. It's hard to drink any volume but sip sip sip! Get as much fluid down as possible. The nurses I had at the Hotel, were both male and spoke great English, and really really cared. I'm looking forward to my progress, and hope to post pics of me slimming down!
