It was very scary to think about going for surgery to another country. My friend and I decided that we would both go and have the surgery the same time. That was a great idea. It was the same day so we compared the healing process along the way. I still talk to her weekly to see how things are healing. It's been just over two months now and I'm feeling pretty good, still no races but every week I get stronger. I love how I can wear my cloths without a tummy hangover/muffin top on my jeans. I can wear nice neat looking shirts and have a more professional look.
It's been a painful last couple months but so worth it. DR. Yanez and his staff are all amazing, the only barrier was that we didn't know Spanish very well. The iPhone translation app did help though.
The weight loss agents that talked to me months before the surgery and helped me were so helpful. I would say top not service all the way around. Thank you everybody for walking with me through this journey, I am a happy girl
