To keep a Promise *

Last year, my husband was scheduled for the surgery on March 21st. On February 21st, I lost him in a tragic accident. It was our intention to get the surgery done together, after all, we had been together for over 22 years. We were best friends, soulmates. We were suppose to be grow old together and raise our 4 kids together.

After I lost him, food became a comfort to me,even more than before. I was a size 24, but even that was getting tight. My legs hurt, I was having trouble with sleep. And then I remembered that my husband and I had promised that this would be our year of transformation. I realized I needed to keep my promise to him.

On January 15th, I had the gastric sleeve done. As of January 2nd, I weighed 312 pounds, and now as of May 19th, I weigh 228. I have dropped to a size 14 and have more energy and I have kept my promise to my husband. I will be here now for my kids and will not have to worry about letting them down.

This has been such a blessing and I am so grateful for the amazing results,thus far!
