I am 42 years old 5'9 I started at 303 I now weigh 234 and I lost 68 pounds in 5 months. My problem was I over ate and with the surgery I was kept from over eating. For example I now eat once piece of pizza as where I used to eat 4 or 5 slices. I don't diet or ever even have time for exercise, the weight just came right off. After this surgery my living skills have greatly improved. I've been more active and spending more time with my daughter. Now that I have lost weight everything seems easier. I have less back and knee pains and as a hard working single mother I can easily hop in and out of the shower, go more places with my daughter, and go to work more often. Another big thing is my energy isn't drained so quickly doing simple things. With that said this surgery was worth it and I honestly wish I would've done it sooner. I will be updating pictures of my results when I get a chance.
