Wow It's hard to express how I feel. The surgery was a huge step for me. I have struggled all my life with weight issues and tried dieting many times. Most of my weight issues stemmed from thyroid issues and it was always a battle for me. I was a healthy eater and did water aerobics for exercise but in just over a year I only managed to loose 20 pounds. I was so very discouraged and feeling rather desperate. I'm a single mom and just couldn't see my health declining further and possibly leaving two young children for someone else to raise. A friend told me about her surgery and so I decided to do my own research and found your facility. Everything checked out and I decided it was time to take matters into my own hands. Since my surgery just over 2 months ago I have lost 42 pounds and lost 11 inches around my waist. I went from being on 10/11 medications before surgery to 4. Everyday I feel stronger and healthier. I look forward to next summer when I have hopefully reached my weight loss goal, have more energy and am better able to keep up with my children.

The staff and facility were awesome. Truthfully, I was shocked when I arrived at the "hospital". It was nothing like I had expected. The facility was small and in a strip mall, but it was super clean, the staff was so friendly and caring. Certianly better care than I have received in my own country at times and the cleanliness of the facility far surpassed our local hospital. I did get pretty sick after I arrived home with vomitting and nausea and ended up in our local hospital for a week, but the trip home was long and exhausting and I over did things at home so I contribute allot of my difficulties to that. Even during my stay in the hospital at home I contacted the clinic to let them know and ask a few questions and they were wonderful. I would most certianly recommend this facility and surgery to others who are looking for a permanant solution. I am extremely happy with the results so far and look forward to enjoying better health and a more active life style.
