I for one am not the kind of person who would get any type of surgery except for in an emergency. But, after my neighbors and uncle had the gastric sleeve I knew that this would be a life changing experience. Day after day I would see them regain parts of their life back by doing activities they never thought they would be able to do again. I had the surgery done on April 10th 2013 and after only three months have lost almost 50 lbs. I was very nervous about going to Mexico but decided that my health was more important than my fears. What I realized when I got to the airport was that I was not alone at all. There was a group of people in the same situation with the same concerns and by the end of the trip we all felt like family. I felt safe the whole time. The hotel was really nice and with my team we got through the whole process very easily. Up to present date, I would do the whole procedure again if I had to and I recommend the surgery to everyone I see. I FEEL FREEDOM. Freedom from food, emotional eating, freedom to wear what I've always wanted to wear and to be and to do the things that I haven't since I've had children. I look and feel like a new person.
