I would like to take this time to thank Dr. Almanza and his entire crew for making my gastric sleeve experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. I was quite nervous and skeptical beforehand, as can be expected. I was very impressed with the streamlined efficiency of the process. Although everything happened in a timely fashion, I did not feel rushed at all. The entire staff, from drivers to nurses, Dr. Almanza himself was courteous, friendly and attentive. I had no complications and the pain was minimal. If you can handle an IV, you can handle this surgery! I am grateful that this opportunity was available as my insurance would not cover me here in the states, even though I am morbidly obese. When I started my pre-op diet I was 480. Almost two weeks post-op I am 425. I feel perfectly fine with no cravings or hunger pangs and my energy level has actually increased! I have been given a new lease on life and I would like to thank weight loss agents and Dr. Almanza for keeping this professional and affordable.
