I received the gastric sleeve by Dr Almanza, and I am happy to say that I feel amazing, despite the gas pains. I pre bought all my liquid vitamins in advance, so have been taking them with my antibiotics. I'd like to say that Dr Almanza, his brother, and staff all went above and beyond. I know some people were leary of the language barrier, but we had no problems at all. Dr Almanza said in his own words that even though his English maybe broken, his hands work terrific! He has a very good sense of humor and obviously does great work. Even the nurses and doctors that give you the aftercare at the hotel are extremely nice. I went with a friend who had the same procedure, and we were both satisfied with the end results. I must also say, hearing that the driver, Omar, had his wife's surgery through Dr Almanza was also refreshing in the fact that his employees trusted his skill as a surgeon. I'm adding the pic from our initial talk with the doctor and also the one where he came to our hotel room to check on our recovery. Again, he joked around and had us laughing!!
I am already looking forward to.my next trip to Tijuana in order to do the Mommy Make Over, so that alone should let you know that I have total faith in the work done there.
