I became a widow at 51 with two teenage daughters that didn't need to loose their Mom also. Two really bad bone on bone knees, orthopedic doctor would not perform knee replacement surgery till I lost at least a 100 lbs. A kind and gracious friend called out of the blue and said she wanted to do something for me. She and her husband wanted to pay for me to have Gastric sleeve surgery, to say I was beyond blessed is an understatement. So I started my weight loss journey in November 2021, lost about 37 lbs prior to Gastric Surgery on Feb 14th and today on July 17th, I have lost 126 lbs. Thankful and blessed beyond measure. Dr. Almanza and his team were kind, gracious and I never felt scared or at unease. The best decision I have made in my life to take my life back. I will have my first knee surgery in July 25th. After recovery from that I will share how much more weight I loose.
