I had been heavy most of my adult life and have lost over 100 pounds 4 different times only to gain back more. I needed to use an electric scooter at Disney Land because of my weight and I was tired all the time. I didn't want to jump through all the hurdles that insurance makes you and wasn't even sure if I would get approved for surgery. I started researching surgical options on the web and found the Jerusulem Hospital site. I was impressed by their knowledge and their coordinator's willingness to answer questions. With being a nurse, I was also concerned about sanitary conditions, etc. I also needed financing for the operation and was able to obtain that through their website as well. The payments are less than $200.00 a month which is very affordable (Less money than I would spend on the vending machine a month :)
The hospital and staff exceeded my expectations! My original post surgery goal was 139 pounds. I flew by that and am currently at 124 pounds. I am aiming within two pounds of the lowest "healthy weight" BMI. I have never felt so good and the compliments keep coming.
