I was very nervous originally about going out of the US for surgery. As it turned out , I had nothing to worry about. I had my surgery the same day I arrived at the hospital. It was all so quick, however it was a successful experience. I did fine, the nurses were fantastic, the facility very clean, and the after care was great! Two things that were a bit uncomfortable was how cold the temperature inside was and my bed was terribly uncomfortable. I did request a different mattress/bed several times but to no avail! After day 2, I just went and slept in my partners room upstairs on the motel floor. It was a much better room to rest in! My roomie and her husband were wonderful people! I had a life long friend I hope! I had my surgery 02/20/19, I healed well and have not had any serious issues. I did however, have to go to ER to get fluids once but my blood work was amazing! Just got dehydrated but I just had to make myself drink more water. Other than that I am fine! I started at 189lbs and now 158, my goal is 150. I feel so good that I just might go to 130. I am looking forward to riding my horses soon and starting to work out!
