I was very nervous at the start because at the last minute my travel companion cancelled so I had to go alone. It is an entirely different world there in Mexico, and it unnerved me. Most of the staff spoke no English, even though I had been assured over the phone prior to travelling that I would be able to have all my questions answered. The medical facility was clean, the staff professional, and the procedure was a success. However, I was in a lot of pain, and had doubts about being able to make the trip home. I am 10 months out now from having the surgery and I have lost 60 lbs.. I stopped losing weight months ago, however, I started working out 5 mornings a week and continue to tone my body and drop clothing sizes. I am able to eat what I want, just very small portions. I feel amazing, and at this point can say I am pleased with the outcome. Good luck to you!
