I had my surgery on 12/04/2020. It has been the absolute best thing I have ever done for myself. I was so scared when I went in thinking I can't get rid of this weight. I started at 225, weighed in at the hospital at 218 and today is 1/27/2021.. not even 2 months and I am down 55 lbs. I feel like a new me, I walk proud and have the energy I use to have when I was younger. My over all health has improved. My blood pressure is down, my heart heart is down. It's scary at first, but it will be the happiest decision you have ever made for yourself. Highly recommend Dr. Almanza! The staff was amazing and sweet! Anna a nurse on the 2nd floor was my favorite!! I wish I could share before and after pictures. But I did not take them. I wouldn't take them before the surgery, I was so ashamed of what I had become to look and feel like. Today, that feeling has been changed to excitement, ready to get up and take the day on! I am Proud to be me!!
