I'm not sure you would wabt my testimonial - some of it is not great
First of al - the pre-op and admin stuff is great - they do a good job of making you feel welcome and try to assuage any nerves you might have going on - The surgery is actually not too bad and DR. LOPEZ needs to get lots of kudos for the way he administered the anesthetic. I didn't even know and next things I wake up in the recovery roo, That nurse was good, as a matter of fact all the nurses were good except the one that told me to hush while I was waiting to talk with Dr. Lopez which was very important to me. i think he needs to come into the room with Dr. Almanza and introduce himself - he was great -
After the surgery is where things start to fall apart - You are in A LOT of pain and nausea is bad - they do not give narcotics so the pain and nausea really escalate. nausea is often a by product of pain, and treating the nausea often does not eliminate it and this was the case here - I was in so much pain and had a bad case of the dry heaves because the pain translated into nausea - It was horrible - I finally told the nurse that there would be a serious issue f I did not get some pain relief - I got some Nubain - a very antiquated pain killer, but it at least worked and I was able to get a little sleep and some ease up of the pain.

The aftercare is what is lacking here- they do a poor job of telling you what to expect after the surgery for the long term. The nurses at the hotel are good - especially Edward - but not so much the shorter. older one who would not come down at 5L30 am even though I was in bad shape - my sister is a physician and I brought some of my own pain killers - Vicodin - which saved me -
