It's been a long 6 weeks! I really thought I would recover sooner from the surgery. Don't know if the longer recovery is because of my age or that I didn't strictly adhere to the pre-surgery diet or both. Anyway, the message to all is to be patient with your recovery as it will get better. Some will heal faster than others, some will lose weight faster than others, but pay attention to what your body tells you on eating. And walk, exercise to whatever extent you can, but do it every day. It's been my "saving grace" in my recovery and feeling better.
