First I want to thank Dr. Almanza & his wonderful team for the care I received in Mexico. I can tell you I found the facilities to be cleaner than US hospitals. The weight loss agents held my hand thru the whole journey. It is exactly how they tell you it will be. I could never have afforded to have the surgery here in the US. Second:
I hit Onederland today!! I haven't been less than 200 lbs in 25 years. I have lost 68 lbs since being sleeved. I would recommend the Gastric Sleeve to anyone who can't keep the weight off. I had been on so many weight loss programs, lose weight & struggle to keep it off only to gain it all back. Since being sleeved food no longer occupies most of my thoughts. I am not hungry & forget to eat until I start feeling shaky. Fried chicken was my absolute favorite food, now I don't even miss it. I think when Dr. Almanza took out 85% of my stomach he took out the bad cravings! I am no longer on any type of meds. My right knee was replaced 2 months before my sleeve & the left was to be replaced later this summer. I believe I can now put it off indefinitely, my body doesn't hurt & I can now get up & down off the floor to play w/my grandbabies. My life has improved 100%.
