Having this surgery was the best decision ever. I had struggled for years with my weight going up and down. The surgery and experience was better than expected. The staff and doctor were very friendly. The hotel staff and nurses were very helpful and nice. The only two bad things were trying to pass all the air out that was pumped into my body. The pressure was awful. The other was the dye you have to drink for your xray to make sure you dont have any leaks from the surgery. I got diarrhea from the dye. I had the surgery on Tuesday 3/13/18 got picked up from the airport on Friday 3/16/18 to go home. Went back to work on Monday 3/19/18. Light work of course, I am a secretary. My start weight was 198 pounds @ 5 foot. I am 2 weeks shy of my 1 year anniversary date and I have lost a total of 63 pounds. I weigh 135 now. I feel and look great. I would recommend Dr Alamanza to anyone.
