My experience with the surgery has been excellent so far!! I am 11 out from the surgery and have lost 19 lbs! The nurses took excellent care of uswhile at the hospital and at the hotel. If Henrique is working have him pound on your back like you would a baby to help move the gas along .... he is most EXCELLENT at this!! If i had to do this over again i would in an instant! FYI for those who will have the surgery day on and two suck...like really...they suck. But by day 3 you are able to go out and about for small jaunts in the city. Drinking is hard for the first week but everyday it gets easier and easier. Today i can drink just fine with no pain of gas in my stomach. As for hunger pains or wanting to eat, i have no desire to eat food. When we went into TJ the smells of foods made most of us nauseous. That passes too. I did dream of food a couple of night after returning but i was never hungry for it. Food looks good when my family is eating dinner but i am content to drink my broth. Right now i miss chewing food, but that is jus a couple of weeks away for me...pretty sure i can make it. ;-)
