Making the decision to do the Gastric Sleeve took a while to absorb the changes that it would impose on my life. Dieting and attempting to loose weight has been a life long struggle for me. I finally made the decision to move forward and get it done.I do not regret at all having this surgery, as it has produced almost immediate reduction in blood pressure, I sleep better, diabetes is no longer in the forecast, my knees are not crying anymore, and this is only 3 weeks out of surgery. I lost 27 pounds pre-op, when I came out of anestesia, I walked a mile inn the halls of the hospital to begin my recovery process. I have to mention how amazingly CLEAN the Hospital was, staff was always mopping and wiping/sanitizing the Hospital. Very Amazing !!!! If you are considering this surgery, I recommend it highly, A better life is on the horizon !!! Claude.
