Had gastric sleeve surgery on May 13th. I seem to be recovering ok although I had several days of pain, nausea and heartburn.

Good news is that I have been able to do completely without my diaabetes meds.....maybe the blood pressure meds will go also?

Criticisms: Not once did I see anyone use an alcohol swab on the port of my IV or my saline lock before injecting mediication!!!

I could have used a little "real" pain medication a couple of times.....maybe at least Stadol or Nubain instead of just ketorolac.

Otherwise things seemed to go ok.
