Having struggled with my weight for so many years and trying many different things with no long-term success, I was elated to find out about Dr. Almanza. My insurance will not cover any portion of WLS and to pay out-of-pocket in the states is very expensive. Once I had done my research and made my decision to move forward, I was able to schedule my surgery less than a month from the date I contacted Dr. Almanza's office.
I was very happy with the communication leading up to travel and felt like I was well cared for during my time in TJ. It has been about 8 weeks since my surgery and I have lost 55 pounds! WLS is NOT a miracle cure, but it is just the tool that I needed. I am very happy with my whole experience and am looking forward to reaching other milestones and hitting my goal weight.
