I have to admit I was initially very regretful about my choice to have the Gastric Sleeve procedure. My pain was more than I expected and I though the accommodations we adequate I was very eager to get home and rest in the comfort of my own home.

arrival in Mexico - the staff at the hotel we great - both the nursing staff on call and the hotel staff were kind and helpful

Hospital Staff - the nurses tending to me post surgery were more concerned with their cell phones and watching TV than with my pain - I was very nauseous from the anesthetic and was offered nothing additional to help. As a result I was awake for the entire night spent in hospital and incredibly uncomfortable.

Surgery - the operating room and hospital was very clean - I felt in good hands. My surgery went well and I had very few post-op complications

Recovery - I was recovered within 3 weeks, though I would recommend someone take off more time from work then I did as I went back one week after my surgery.

Travel - worst day of my life

weight loss goal - 100Lbs

the good stuff - I have lost 80 lbs. in approx. 4.5 months and I feel great (both inside and out). I have very little cravings and never feel hungry. I had very little complications (one infected incision)
