I was a little nervous to get the gastric sleeve and also to travel to TJ for it. I wasn't sure what to expect since I was traveling by myself. I have to say that it was a very good experience. All the personnel were nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. Now, my only regret was not getting the surgery sooner. It has been about seven weeks since the surgery and I have not had any problems, pain, or discomfort. I feel that I'm on my way to a new life with a new healthy body.
