As i reflect back on my journey to make the decision to go forth with this procedure, I thought about my youthfulness and my wife. I was struggling with so many health issues and the worse one of all was DEPRESSION. I was so frustrated with not having any energy or drive to do absolutely anything. My appearance had changed dramatically and none of my clothes looked nice anymore. I COULD ONLY SHOP IN THE BIG MAN STORE. I had tried every diet out there, but would always gain the weight back double. I was so depressed until I did not want to go out or be around anyone.
Now that I have had the surgery, I feel as though I have taken the necessary steps of saving my life and is on a new road of recovery. It has been two weeks and I have lost 22lbs and absolutely loving the energy level and self motivation I'm having to want to be active and have a proactive life style with my family. Each day I wake up I see the transformation in myself and I'm EXTREMLY HAPPY and feel ALIVE again. I know that making the decision to have the gastric sleeve surgery will give me a better quality of life and give me my self esteem back that I had lost.
I can not leave without mentioning the weight loss support team who helped me to set up everything and basically held my hand along the way with all of the questions and concerns.
