I was one of the ones that was terrified to do this surgery. I finally made the decision to get it done. I remember being at the Hospital and scared and wanting to back out!! I didn't though. I stayed strong, did a lot of praying and got it done. six weeks later, I am still recovering but, I feel better. I no longer snore when I sleep an feel rested the next morning. I am down almost 50 pounds and I already feel I can do so much more now. I have interest in things now that I didn't before like hiking, fishing, cycling, most of all doing outdoor activities!! I am so grateful I got this done and grateful to Dr. Almanza for taking care of me.. The staff at the Hospital was very caring and very kind and I am grateful to them for that! I feel I have a brand new life and I feel younger and loving life again. My focus is no longer around food but other things. I am no longer sitting in front of a tv and snacking. I rather now days be outside and moving. I am so glad I did the gastric sleeve and don't regret it!!
