I arrived at the San Diego airport as instructed the van arrived and 2 other women came out at that point I was releived because I was alone I was aprehensive about going across the border. We went across and started our journey we turned into a strip mall I was a little concerned at this point the surgery center is located next to an Office depot so we stopped and went inside once inside I was relieved to see that it was clean and looked like a proper medical Facility they were extremely friendly and inviting. From that point on I never felt scared. We were taken for labwork and an ekg was done we were then put in hospital gowns and had Iv Fluids placed in our arms the entire time I was there it was clean and I was treated professionally Dr Almanza came in and spoke with us prior to surgery and took pictures , that was reassuring. After surgery went well .I spent the night at the clinic I was never sick but I did have alot of discomfort they gave us Iv Toradol and something for nausia . The only complaint I would have is that the pain medication should have been a little stronger.
We were taken the 2nd day to the hotel Tucan awesome place treated very well its a four star hotel and definetly lives up to that you have access to a nurse during the evening they take you for fluids and iv pain meds and medication. I weighed 224lbs prior to surgery I now weigh 205lbs post sx 7 days I'm extremely happy with the whole event and I already have friends scheduling to go have procedures done as well.
