I had the sleeve take place on September 1. I was in a room with three other women, whom all were throwing up, I was the only one who wasn't throwing up after surgery. It is so important to get up and walk as much as possible. I am down 31 pounds, including my pre-op loss. I thought for sure it was going to come off faster, but it hasn't. I started at 285 pounds, but I do not have any lose skin either. I have not loss anything in the last 2 weeks. I do have a job where I sit most days, but work towards getting 250 steps in an hour, and some days that is hard. As far as body goes, I most of the time feel pretty good, I have only thrown up one time, and I think it is because I ate too fast. I would recommend this surgery to anyone who has struggled for a long period of time without much success. If you get a chance to bush up on your spanish it will help you at the hospital and hotel.
