My decision to have the surgery was not easy for me to make. I did a lot of research on the procedure as well the location I chose. After researching Dr. Hernandez's back ground I felt very comfortable in selecting him as my surgeon.

I went alone for the surgery and recommend that someone attends anyone who goes to the Baja Hospital, just for company. I was pleased at how professional the nursing staff was. While going to college years ago I worked in a hospital as a CNA and recognized good nursing from bad, I was very pleased with the hospital staff.

I only speak a limited amount of Spanish but found the majority of the staff spoke English, only a few did not. The rooms were nice, very clean and kept clean through my stay. I recommend taking your laptop or other device as there was only one channel in English and it was a kids channel. The internet reception was good.

The procedure (gastric sleeve) was not as complicated as I thought. The first day I had discomfort, by the time I left I was mostly pain free. My recovery has gone very well and the weight has been coming off.

I give my recommendation.
