When I first made my appointment for the gastric sleeve surgery I was skeptical. I wasn't sure what to expect from the doctors, nurses nor the facility. The hospital was nice and comforting, they are there 24/7. And you get to stay in the same room with 2 other patients, which at first to me I was not a fan of I wanted to be alone and private. But I am glad we all went through the journey together. It gives you a state of comfort to know that your not the only one having certain pains and it is normal. We cried, we yelled, walked, talked, and stayed up all night together. I honestly would have been scared to do it alone. The facility was clean and organized. I would say the first day right after surgery is the worst day! My second day I was fine, 3-5th day I was still feeling bad because of the gas but today is my 6th day and I feel great! The hotel was very nice. Everything is made for post surgery patients, they are on call 24/7 and a very friendly staff. The hotel is walking distance from pharmacy where you can get a lot of medicine that you need. I would suggest you trade in your American money for Mexican money as it will be worth more. There is a bar/club down the street from the hotel so it is a lot of noise if you are staying in the front of the hotel. Personally I did not hear the music because I wasn't in the front but, you can always ask for a different room. Overall the experience was very well, I was token care of very nicely, the staff is very friendly, and there's nothing negative to say on my end. Wish you guys good luck and prepare for this night!
