I have not spent all my life over weight. I use to try and stay at a decent weight. I ran some and watched what I ate. Then one day I woke up and was 100 pounds over weight, or at least it seemed like it happened over night. I would lose some but felt like I was to far gone to get back to my healthier self so I would just quit trying. I let to many things in my life make me feel less and I tried to feel better by eating and drinking coke. I have three boys, the youngest being 13 at the time and I found out I was pregnant. My husband and I struggled with the idea of starting all over and having a little one at our age. I was overweight and not healthy at all. When my little one turned 4, I was at my highest weight and I was miserable. I didn't play with him like I did the other three boys. I was in my 20's when I had them and was slimmer and healthier. I decided I had to do something. I was scared to go to a different country when I have barely been out of my state. But I decided I was dieing physically and emotionally the way I was so I had nothing to lose and everything to gain. So I made the journey with a friend and I was scared!

It was the best thing I have ever done for myself. I smile, I laugh, and I play with my 4 year old. I'm not embarrassed to be at football games or at the grocery store. I still have 25 pounds to my goal weight but I have lost 70 pounds in 4 months. So I guess you can say I'm a big loser!

I'm thankful for everyone at the hospital and hotel, they made us feel comfortable and they took very good care of us. Because of their help I'm living!
