I started my research in 2012. After 6 months of Bariatric Classes at the hospital, I was told that my insurance company covers the surgery, but the group I belong to chose to NOT include weight loss measures, of any kind!

I went on-line, and saw Weight Loss Agents (.com), I had immediate reservations regarding leaving the states. I read over lots of testimonials from various agencies, and watched hours of Youtube videos. In the early part of 2016, I started seeing a lot of providers "pop-up", claiming to do the surgery for 1/2 the cost of my local hospital (out of pocket). But, the focus of Dr. Mario Almanza and Weight Loss Agents was consistently about positive results!

Another difference I noticed, was representatives with Weight Loss Agents kept in touch with me since my initial contact. They were never aggressive, or burdensome. When I explained that I would have to pay out-of-pocket, they explained their role in Medical Tourism. Once I explained the type of surgery I wanted, they directed me to a financing network that would cover the costs of the blood work, EKG, surgical procedure, and hotel stay! All costs were upfront.

My wife traveled with me. The group in our van was awesome. They made this "trip" more memorable! This wasn't really a leap of faith, since I had tons of info. It was the right time, and the right decision.
