Hi getting the lap band is one of the best decision I've made in my life. I lost 35lbs in a month. After having the surgery I eat very little I'm full after a couple bites of food. I showed my dr. Here in the states my x-ray of my band and he said it was very well placed. The ladies who go surgery when I got mine are all friends on Facebook and we check on each other to see how we are doing. My group was great we all got along excellently. My experience was awesome. I felt no pain ever, I flew back home the next day and was with my family. Dr. Almanza is an excellent doctor he took time to take a picture with all of us before the surgery and he was very friendly and kind. All the doctors were very perfessional and personable. I had a great time. I would do again in a second, and I recommend to anyone who needs to lose a lot of weight. Sincerely Katherine C.
