I made the huge decision to get the Gastric Sleeve surgery on April 8th. This was my last hope and definitely not a decision I took lightly or made in haste. I have suffered tremendously from obesity and felt like I was dying daily. Since the surgery, I have gone from 374 to 308, it seems slow, but I am told it really isn't. I am already starting to feel better and am ready to lose another 100 pounds at least! I believe that I will be 100 pounds down by September or October(I hope) If not, as long as I am losing, that's ok. Anyone, who believes this is an easy fix, it is not. It has been a struggle and I still have to work on my "head hunger" but I am learning one day at a time and I have absolutely no regrets. In addition, going to Mexico was a little scary for me, but Dr. Almanza is a great and very talented surgeon and I believe he helped save my life! Thanks Doc!
