It has been almost 4 months since I was sleeved and have an abundance of energy now. I used to wear a size 24 pant and now am in a size 14. Life has definitely changed for the better but it is hard work. I get so many compliments now and don't mind telling people what I did to become healthier. I have diabetes and started feeling the effects of this disease and this was the main reason for doing this surgery as I was also a stress eater and would sabotage myself when I would lose weight. I was on 6 different medications and am pleased to say I am on only 1 now and hope to be off that one in August. I had not seen a counsellor or dietician before the surgery and now I have developed a team of professionals to help me succeed. I have a personal trainer who helps me keep motivated. I have lost 52 lbs to date and have another 32 lbs to go. Thank you weight loss clinic for giving me my life back :)
