I have been overweight most of my life. I have been on different diets and they would work but not stick. Not just with the weight I also had high blood pressure and diabetes. So I decided that I needed to make a change. I made contact with Weight Loss Agents and they assisted me with setting up my procedure. I decided that I was going to go to Tijuana Mexico and get the Gastric Sleeve. Of course I was nervous it is normal. So we set the date October 6, 2017. I flew into the San Diego Airport and made contact with Weight Loss Agents and the shuttle met me at the airport and transported me to the hospital. When I arrived at the hospital I was not sure what and how it was going to happen. The staff was amazing. They walked me through the process and Dr. Almanza came out and spoke with me and let me know everything that was going to happen. I went into the operating room and there were 3 Doctors, and the anesthesiologist. The surgery was quick and the nurses in recovery took care of my needs. I was then taken back to my room and the nurses were right there to make sure that I was taken care of and assisted me with walking to make sure that I was not having any gas. The whole process was amazing there was not one time that I was left alone. Once I was discharged to the hotel the nurses were right there waiting on the shuttle to take us to our rooms and make us comfortable. If I had any problems the nurses were right there to take care of me. When discharged from the hotel the shuttle then took me back to the airport.
The care that I received in Tijuana was remarkable and awesome, I am currently 18days out and have lost 26 pounds and since surgery I have not had to take any medications for my blood pressure or diabetes. I wish I would have done this sooner.
Going to Tijuana was a life changing trip and this is allowing me to be able to have the quality of life that I deserve. I am going to be here a long time enjoying my grandchildren.
