Those of us who have been heavy/fat most of our lives know what it is to struggle with weight. For me, I took on an aggressive personality to mask how much my weight affected me. Or I would be moody and depressed. But enough of that, if you are living with that struggle, I don't need to tell you how I felt.

At my heaviest, I weighed 252, but on surgery day, I believe I was at 240. I am 5'6" and was in a size 18. Today I am wearing size 8-10 and weigh 176 and i am still losing. This may be a silly thing, but i can wear a bikini! I have a healthy body image and I am amazed at how I look. This was the best thing I ever did for myself. If you are nervous about getting it done, don't be. You will not find a better surgeon than Dr. Almanza.
