I was sleeved almost 8 months ago. The hospital staff is very friendly, seemed knowledgeable. There is a bit of a language barrier, but the staff dies utilize their phones to help with translation. I am a nurse by profession, I did receive top notch care, but there is a recognizible difference in the way they prepare you for surgery. Immediately after surgery they wake you up while still on the surgical table, and have you transfer into a wheelchair which was a little difficult being drowsy and being sore from surgery. Despite the differences, I would do it again! My starting weight was 414lbs, surgery weight 370lbs. Today, almost 8 months later, I am 245lbs! Went from a size 28 (tigghttt, and uncomfortable) to a comfortable size 14. 4xl in tshirts to most XL. This surgery will change your life!!
