So, going to Mexico for any kind of surgery seems crazy to most Americans, especially those living in Florida. I have been overweight my entire life. I turned 50 this year and my husband & I moved to the beach to start our empty nest life. I wanted to finally do something for myself after raising three very successful girls because as I started to look back at family photos, I noticed that I was not in any of them. The whole thing was flawless. The airport pick up/drop off was efficient, the staff was amazing, and my group of "losers" are now a lifelong support system. The place was clean and the doctor was kind and very knowledgable. His nursing staff went above and beyond. There was a slight problem with one male nurse who was knew on the last night at the hotel. He was severely lacking in skill and bedside manner. But it was quickly rectified and I was released to fly home the next morning.

I have lost nearly 40 pounds and I could not be happier. My inner skinny person is alive and well. I have endless energy, my BP is normal, my back pain in minimal, and no signs of diabetes. This was a great experience and I would do it again in fat minute! Totally life changing for the better!
