Its been 3 months since my surgery and I have lost 50lbs since the surgery date. It feels like forever and has been very challenging. My experience has been a roller coaster, I learned my lesson in eating too fast and eating foods too soon, so I have been taking my time now and only experimenting a little at at time. Mainly I have been eating Greek yogurt and I just started eating some fruit, not too much on meat just yet, still kinda scared to try some meats.
The good thing, is that I know when to stop now. I hate the feeling of wanting to throw up what I just ate because I'm so full, which wasn't that much to begin with.
I know that this is a life long change in my life and I'm sure I will be going through more challenges but I don't regret having the surgery. Already I feel great about myself and it will only get better.
The only thing that I can pass on, is that everyone is very different and you just need to understand your own body and deal with your own issues, because nobody will be going through exactly what you are going through.
So hang in there and learn from your own experiences and everything will work out.
