I started my journey weighing at 448 I now weigh 212.
I would say RUN don't walk to have the surgery!
It is not going to be a quick fix. To be successful I believe you need to concour your thoughts around food. Realize food is fuel. I was and still am a very emotional eater. I tell myself now, "nothing tastes as good as healthy feels!"
It takes dedication and disapline! You will need to change your whole way of thinking about food to be successful.
I have been overweight my entire life. After having children I gain 200 pounds. I considered the surgery when they were young. Now I wish I would have done it.
Choosing to have the surgery in Mexico worked for me. I didn't have insurance that would pay for it. Everyone was very professional. The hospital was clean and well staffed.
I had my surgery. Stayed for a 3 day observation, then released. The drivers were all very nice and professional.
I would recommend if you are thinking about it call weightloss agents. They will help you through each step.
My life is completely different. I can now do everything I want. I do not have to sit on the sidelines and watch life pass me by.
