To be honest, had the surgery at 4pm approx and felt great. 2 hours later out of bed and walking about. Around 10 pm was settling down for the night and noticed my drain bottle was full and bright red, different from people that had same surgery that day. Doctor came to do his post surgery checks at 11pm and was not happy with the colour of the fluid in the bottle resulting in me going for another op apparently to repair what may have been a cut to a muscle. Came round some time later and was feeling pretty poorly. No sleep that night but managed to take a quick shower that morning and another short walk, boy I didn't feel too good. Back to Hotel that afternoon and I slept most of day and night. After care was excellent, administered a drip with pain killer etc., slept most of next day too. Eventually started to feel a little better and then a couple more days and flew home. It's been 2 weeks today since surgery and I've lost a total of 33 lbs. Feeling fitter but still no appetite, following the diet and family, friends and workmates have said I look much fitter and thinner which is pleasing. At 240 lbs prior to starting the per op diet and two weeks post op I am now following the recommended diet and I am now 33 lbs lighter. Best thing I ever did was having the op.
