I was scared to death to travel out of the country to have this surgery, but we had several friends use this dr and all had great results so we did it. My wife and myself both had the surgery the same day. We have both had great results I have lost 185 lbs and she has lost 100 lbs in just under 10 months literally both are life changing amounts of weight to lose. The Mexico experience was a little scary, the hospital was along the lines of an urgent care in the US, and not many English speaking Drs or nurses, but the main Dr and the admittance people do, and they explain the process to you. The after surgery care at the hotel was great, the nurses there took great care of us and were very knowledgeable and very nice. The hotel was also very nice, and very comfortable. Overall it was a good experience, you just have to remember you are going to another country and don't expect everything to be like it is here. It is completely worth it, I would do it again in a heartbeat. And I would tell anyone who needs to lose 100 or more lbs that this is absolutely the way to go, you won't regret it. The only regret I have is that I didn't do it sooner. I also recommend if a couple wants to do it, do it together, it is so much easier on each of you, and being able to support each other throughout the whole surgery and weight loss journey is so great.
